Peer Review
Peer Review Process
Overview
IJEAE follows a strict double‑blind peer review model: neither authors nor reviewers know each other’s identity. This guarantees objectivity, impartiality, and the highest standards of academic integrity.
Every manuscript is first assessed by the Editor‑in‑Chief for scope and quality, then forwarded to at least two independent expert reviewers.
Typical first decision: 6–8 weeksSubmission & Initial Editorial Check
Manuscripts are checked for adherence to the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and basic quality. Submissions that do not pass this stage are returned without external review.
Plagiarism screening with iThenticate / Turnitin. Acceptable similarity index: below 15%.
Reviewer Assignment
The Editor‑in‑Chief assigns at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers are drawn from the editorial board and IJEAE’s wider pool, with all conflicts of interest carefully avoided.
Double‑Blind Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript on originality, methodological rigour, clarity of argument, literature engagement, and overall contribution. Structured reports conclude with one of four recommendations: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
Author Revision
Authors receive anonymised reviewer feedback and resubmit a revised manuscript together with a point‑by‑point response. Major revisions are re‑reviewed by the original reviewers.
Final Decision & Publication
The Editor‑in‑Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations. Accepted manuscripts are copyedited, typeset, and published online with a DOI. Authors are notified at every stage.
